A Salty Piece of Lime
Life's better with salt and citrus. This is a small, sun-warmed corner of the internet for people who salt the rim without being asked, squeeze the wedge like they mean it, and believe a Tuesday is a perfectly good reason for a margarita. Pull up a beach chair. Stay a while.
What is this place?
A Salty Piece of Lime is devoted to two of nature's greatest achievements: salt and citrus. We're here for the margarita with an unapologetic salt rim, the paloma sweating in the afternoon heat, the beach day that runs long because nobody wants to be the first to leave.
There is no gatekeeping here. No twelve-step cocktail rituals, no tasting notes that mention "forest floor," no one explaining your own drink back to you. Just good drinks, strong opinions, and the occasional questionable decision.
Wander the recipes when you're thirsty, read the manifesto when you're curious, and brace yourself for the salty takes when you're feeling brave.

Three doors, no wrong answers. (Okay, one of them is the manifesto, which is arguably the rightest answer.)
The Manifesto
What we believe, written down, so there's no confusion later. Salt belongs on the rim. Lime is not optional. Read the whole doctrine.

Six beach drinks worth making: three margaritas, a paloma, a painkiller, and a frozen coconut situation, with real ingredients and real steps. All tested. All dangerous in the best way.

Party season? Handled.
Beach drinks with holiday confidence โ the painkiller and coco loco are in the kit now, and a Halloween-week tiki sour plus a Christmas-week piña colada are dropping soon. The season doesn't stand a chance.
